Gelatin mix is a favorite convenience pantry
staple in our house. We use it to make quick desserts, including parfaits, trifles, and fruit salads.
Whip gelatin mix in sugar cookie dough, frosting, and icing for extra flavor and
color. Make frosted grapes, meringue cookies, fruit-flavored roll-ups, and
marshmallows with it, too!
Yield: 1 pound makes approx. (25) 1/2 cup servings of prepared orange gelatin dessert.
Directions to make (4) 1/2 cup servings: Dissolve 6 Tbls. (0.16 Lb.) gelatin mix
into 1 cup (8 fl. oz.) hot water. Add 1 cup (8 fl. oz.) ice water. Chill until

mix into 6 1/4 cups (50 fl. oz.) hot water. Add 6 1/4 cups (50 fl. oz.) ice
water. Chill until set.

natural and artificial flavor, tricalcium phosphate, color (yellow 6, red 40).
