Yield: 1 pound makes (22) 1/2 cup servings of prepared orange-colored peach
Directions to make (4) 1/2 cup servings: Dissolve 3 oz. (a heaping 1/3 cup) gelatin mix in 1 cup boiling water. Stir in 1 cup ice water. Chill until set.
Shelf Life: 3+ Years when stored at room temperature or below in an air-tight
container out of direct light
Recipe: Fuzzy Navel Gelatin Shots
Alcohol imbibed cups of peach flavored gelatin. Easy to serve at a party and
packs a punch!
1 pound peach
2 1/3 cups
boiling water OR fruit juice
2 1/3 cups well-chilled vodka (see Notes, below)
~ In a large bowl or pitcher, stir together gelatin mix and boiling water until
gelatin has dissolved.
~ Stir in chilled vodka.
~ Pour mixture into 2 oz.
plastic cups or wax-lined paper bathroom cups (Dixie cups).
~ Place cups on a
baking pan for easy transport.
~ Chill until set, about 1 hour.
Notes: Chill bottle in the freezer for 1 hour before
preparing shots. Traditionally, fuzzy navel jello shots are made with vodka. However,
