Recipe: Parmesan Pesto Sauce for Pasta
Super fast and easy, yet sinful and savory. Tastes great over any pasta or
ravioli, as well as grilled chicken breasts and shrimp.
2 Tbls. butter
2 Tbls. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups cold milk
1/2 cup Kraft Parmesan
Powder
2 Tbls. basil pesto
1 tsp.
granulated garlic OR garlic powder
1/2 tsp. ground white
pepper
1 splash Worcestershire sauce OR
1/8 tsp.
Worcestershire sauce powder
1 splash
hot sauce (or to taste)
~ In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter; stir in flour; cook,
stirring constantly, for 2 minutes.
~ Slowly whisk milk, and then whisk in Parmesan Powder until no lumps remain.
~ Simmer over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened, about 5-10
minutes.
~ Stir in remaining ingredients just before serving.
~ Taste and season with
salt before serving.
