Dried mushrooms are one of my favorite gourmet convenience
items! This Stir-Fry Blend has a delicate, mild flavor that is well suited for
stir-fries, containing Shiitake, Shredded Wood Ear, Sliced Button, Cloud Ear and
Oyster. Simply rehydrate and toss into your vegetable, chicken, pork, beef, or
seafood stir-fry. I've found that they are also delicious added to rice pilaf,
sauces, and soups. They're just so easy, versatile and delicious!
Net Weight: 1 ounce / 28 grams in a resealable clamshell package.
Ingredients: dried mushrooms.
Cold Water Rehydration Directions (preferred for best flavor): Place dried
mushrooms in a bowl. Cover with cold water. Allow to rest for at least 2 hours,
until soft and pliable.
Hot Water Rehydration Directions (fastest method): Place dried mushrooms in
a bowl. Cover with boiling water. Allow to rest for 30 minutes, or until soft
Suggestion: If your recipe calls for water, use the water you rehydrated the
mushrooms in for extra mushroom flavor! If desired, you can cut off any tough,
thick stems and just use the mushroom caps.
