Product Details: Gelatin mix is a favorite convenience pantry staple in our house. We use it to make quick desserts, including parfaits, trifles, and fruit salads. Whip gelatin mix in sugar cookie dough, frosting, and icing for extra flavor and color. Make frosted grapes, meringue cookies, fruit-flavored roll-ups, and marshmallows with it, too!

(16 ounces / 454 grams) is packaged in a clear budget bag with twist-tie closure.

fruit granulated sugar, cane sugar, gelatin blend (gelatin, fumaric acid, sodium citrate, contains 2% or less of potassium sorbate, salt, natural flavoring, sugar, yellow 5, blue 1, BHA, dimethylpolysiloxane), green lake (FD&C yellow #5 lake, FD&C blue #1 lake). Packaged in a facility that also handles wheat, milk, soy, egg, sesame, peanuts, and tree nuts.

Directions to make (4) 1/2 cup servings:
Dissolve 3 oz. (a heaping 1/3 cup) gelatin mix in 1 cup boiling water. Stir in 1 cup ice water. Chill until set.

3+ Years when stored at room temperature or below in an air-tight container out of direct light

Recipe: Margarita Gelatin Shots
Alcohol imbibed cups of fruity flavored gelatin. Easy to serve at a party and packs a punch!

1 pound lime gelatin mix
2 1/3 cups boiling water OR fruit juice
2 1/3 cups well-chilled tequila (see Notes, below)

~ In a large bowl or pitcher, stir together gelatin mix and boiling water until gelatin has dissolved.
~ Stir in chilled tequila.
~ Pour mixture into 2 oz. plastic cups or wax-lined paper bathroom cups (Dixie cups).
~ Place cups on a baking pan for easy transport.
~ Chill until set, about 1 hour.

Notes: Chill bottle in the freezer for 1 hour before preparing shots. For margarita jello shots, tequila is used, but you can use any other liquor. We prefer to use one of the 99 Schnapps varieties (99 Apples, 99 Bananas, 99 Blackberries, 99 Cherries, 99 Coconut, 99 Grapes, 99 Oranges, 99 Peaches, 99 Watermelon ); these boast a high proof and lots of flavor.
