1 pound makes (22) 1/2 cup servings of prepared lime gelatin dessert. Dissolve 1/3 cup gelatin mix in 1 cup boiling water. Stir in 1 cup ice water. Chill until set.

Recipe: Margarita Gelatin Shots
Alcohol imbibed cups of fruity flavored gelatin. Easy to serve at a party and packs a punch!

1 pound lime flavored gelatin mix
5 1/3 cups boiling water OR fruit juice
5 1/3 cups (1.25 L) well-chilled tequila (see Notes, below)

~ In a large bowl or pitcher, stir together gelatin mix and boiling water until gelatin has dissolved.
~ Stir in chilled tequila.
~ Pour mixture into 2 oz. plastic cups or wax-lined paper bathroom cups (Dixie cups).
~ Place cups on a baking pan for easy transport.
~ Chill until set, about 1 hour.

Notes: Chill bottle in the freezer for 1 hour before preparing shots. For margarita jello shots, tequila is used, but you can use any other liquor. We prefer to use one of the 99 Schnapps varieties (99 Bananas, 99 Blackberries, 99 Apples, 99 Oranges, or 99 Cherries); these boast a high proof and lots of flavor.
