Recipe: Sweet 'N Sassy Chicken
Ready in under a half an hour, this quick main coarse is best served with rice and/or steamed broccoli.

Serves: 4
Prep. Time: 0:25

1/4 cup soy sauce
2 Tbls. honey
1 Tbls. brown sugar
1 Tbls. Hot Sauce
1 tsp. dried minced garlic OR 2 tsp. chopped fresh garlic
1 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp. Sweet Desert Heat Seasoning OR 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 Lb. chicken breast meat, cut into thin strips
2 Tbls. vegetable oil OR olive oil

~ In a small bowl, stir together the soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, hot sauce, garlic, and ginger. Set aside.
~ In a shallow dish, stir together the flour, seasoning or salt, and pepper.
~ Lightly coat chicken in seasoned flour and then place in a hot skillet with oil.
~ Brown chicken on both sides and then pour in liquid mixture.
~ Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until sauce has thickened and chicken is cooked through.


Recipe: Hot Curry Popcorn

3 Tbls. coconut oil OR Buttery Popcorn Topping
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1/2 tsp. curry powder
1/4 tsp. ground cumin
1 - 2 tsp. Hot Sauce
1 gallon popped popcorn
fine popcorn salt, to taste

~ In a small saucepan, heat the coconut oil or Buttery Popcorn Topping over medium heat.
~ Stir in garlic, curry, and cumin; simmer for 1 minute; reduce heat to low; simmer 1 minute; stir in hot sauce.
~ Pour spiced oil evenly over the popcorn, toss to mix, and then season with salt.
~ Serve immediately.
