Alcohol imbibed cups of red fruity flavored gelatin. Easy to serve at a party and
packs a punch!
1 pound fruit-flavored gelatin mix
5 1/3 cups
boiling water OR fruit juice
5 1/3 cups (1.25 L) well-chilled liquor (see Notes, below)
~ In a large bowl or pitcher, stir together gelatin mix and boiling water until
gelatin has dissolved.
~ Stir in chilled liquor.
~ Pour mixture into 2 oz.
plastic cups or wax-lined paper bathroom cups (Dixie cups).
~ Place cups on a
baking pan for easy transport.
~ Chill until set, about 1 hour.
Notes: Chill bottle in the freezer for 1
hour before preparing shots. Traditionally, vodka is used, as it has the most
neutral flavor. However, we prefer to use one of the
99 Schnapps varieties (99 Bananas, 99
Blackberries, 99 Apples, 99 Oranges, or 99 Cherries); these boast a high proof
