Product Details: Maltodextrin is a versatile, food-grade carbohydrate powder commonly used by home cooks, bakers, and small manufacturers to improve texture, consistency, and blendability in both sweet and savory recipes. It has a very mild sweetness and neutral flavor, making it an ideal background ingredient that won’t interfere with your final taste profile. Maltodextrin is especially useful as a carrier for seasonings and powdered flavors, helping spices disperse evenly while reducing clumping in dry blends like popcorn seasonings, rubs, soup bases, and drink mixes. Typical usage ranges from 1–5% by weight in dry mixes, making it easy to experiment with small batches while improving flow, stability, and overall product performance.
