Recipe: Roasted Garlic Alfredo Sauce
Simple recipe with bold flavors! Serve over pasta or use as a layer in lasagna.
2 Tbls. butter
2 Tbls. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups cold milk
1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese
Powder
1/2 cup Roasted Granulated Garlic
~ In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter then stir in flour. Cook,
stirring constantly, for 1 minute.
~ Slowly whisk in milk, and then whisk in Parmesan Powder and roasted garlic until no lumps remain.
~ Simmer over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened, about 5-10
minutes
~ Season with salt and pepper before serving.
Suggested Flavor Additions: parsley, nutmeg and/or cayenne pepper.
