Please Note: This product is manufactured by French's. When smelling the dry powder, you may think the predominant aroma is cloves. Used properly, reconstituted in recipes, the flavor doesn't represent that. Most of our customers love it and reorder often. If you haven't tasted this concentrated dry powder before, please try a spice jar size before ordering larger quantities.
We use this in our: Mild Firehouse Bloody Mary Mix; Scary Mary Mix; Chicago Steakhouse Popcorn Seasoning; Chicago Steakhouse Steak, Burger & Chop Dust; Great Chicago Fire Steak, Burger & Chop Dust; and Hot Diggity Clam Dip Mix.

Recipe: Dried Beef Gravy
I was trying to think of a recipe in which Worcestershire sauce is a co-star. This is it and I think you'll love it as much as my family does!
1/4 cup butter OR margarine
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
3 cups milk
4.5 oz. jar dried beef - sliced thinly or chopped
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce powder
salt and pepper - to taste
~ Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat, then whisk in flour. Cook, stirring constantly, for 1 whole minute.
~ Gradually add small amounts of milk, whisking after each addition, until fully incorperated.
~ Stir in beef and Worcestershire sauce powder.
~ Simmer, stirring often, until thickened and season with salt and pepper.
~ Serve over toast or biscuits.
Note: If you prefer less salt, rinse the slices of dried beef before slicing/dicing it.
