We've blended cheddar cheese powder and spicy jalapeno pepper to make a savory and spicy powdered flavoring perfect for sprinkling onto popcorn, French fries, chicken tenders, popcorn shrimp, roasted potatoes, and more! The addition of green pepper powder makes the green chili flavor more pronounced without adding too much heat. Cumin, onion, and garlic powders create a more complex flavor.

Ingredients:  cheese powder [a dehydrated blend of whey, buttermilk solids, cheeses (granular and cheddar [pasteurized milk, cheese culture, salt, enzymes]), whey protein concentrate, salt, sodium phosphate, citric acid, yellow 5, yellow 6, lactic acid, enzyme], peppers (green bell and jalapeno), buttery salt (salt, artificial flavor, yellow 5 & 6), onion, garlic, spices. Contains milk. May contain soy. Packaged in a facility that also packages wheat, milk, soy, egg, peanuts, and tree nuts.


Recipe: Cheesy Chicken Chili Wontons
Creamy cheese and chili filling with chicken in a crispy fried won ton. Spicy!

1/4 cup Cheddar Jalapeno Popcorn Seasoning
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup milk
6 oz. can (or 3/4 cup) chicken, drained
1 pkg. wonton wrappers
1 egg, beaten
oil for frying

~ With an electric mixer on low, beat together Popcorn Seasoning, cream cheese, and milk until smooth. Stir in chicken.
~ Place a scant Tablespoonful of cream cheese mixture onto the center of each wonton wrapper.
~ Brush egg on the edges of the wrappers, fold over in a triangle shape, and press to seal edges.
~ Place filled wontons in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with waxed paper. Freeze wontons completely (takes approx. 1 hour).
~ Deep-fry wontons in 375 degree oil, turning once, until golden brown. Drain on cooling racks or paper towels.
