Recipe: Cajun Cheese Grits
Rich, savory grits with a little smoky heat can accompany any meal, from breakfast to dinner!
2 cups milk
2 cups water
1 cup uncooked quick-cooking corn grits
3 Tbls. Big chEasy Snack Seasoning
2 green onions, sliced, optional
~ Bring water and milk to a boil in a medium saucepan.
~ Gradually add grits to the pan, stirring constantly.
~ Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring frequently, until thickened, about 5 minutes.
~ Remove from heat and stir in Big chEasy Snack Seasoning. Allow to rest for 3 minutes before serving.
~ Garnish with sliced green onions.
