  • Liquid Usage: Use this reconstitution recipe (by weight): 20% Worcestershire Sauce Powder + 30% Vinegar + 50% Water.

Additional Product Note: A predominant aroma when smelling the dry powder is cloves. This is typical; there's nothing wrong with the product. Used properly, our repeat customers must like it, as we sell hundreds of pounds a year. (You don't want to know why this note is necessary :/ but feel free to look up our BBB rating for the full Monty.)

We use this in our: Mild Firehouse Bloody Mary Mix; Scary Mary Mix; Chicago Steakhouse Popcorn Seasoning; Chicago Steakhouse Steak, Burger & Chop Dust; Great Chicago Fire Steak, Burger & Chop Dust; Hot Diggity Clam Dip Mix; Blue Cheese Dip Mix; and Blue Cheese Popcorn Seasoning.

Recipe: Dried Beef Gravy
I was trying to think of a recipe in which Worcestershire sauce is a co-star. This is it and I think you'll love it as much as my family does!

1/4 cup butter OR margarine
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
3 cups milk
4.5 oz. jar dried beef - sliced thinly or chopped
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce powder
salt and pepper - to taste

~ Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat, then whisk in flour. Cook, stirring constantly, for 1 whole minute.
~ Gradually add small amounts of milk, whisking after each addition, until fully incorperated.
~ Stir in beef and Worcestershire sauce powder.
~ Simmer, stirring often, until thickened and season with salt and pepper.
~ Serve over toast or biscuits.

Note: If you prefer less salt, rinse the slices of dried beef before slicing/dicing it.
